This year marks the 11th annual national designation of April as Financial Literacy Month. Last year, the brass Student Program hosted a very successful poster and movie trailer contest to celebrate.
This year, we’re asking high school students and teachers to get out their camera phones to snap creative Instagram photos demonstrating ways to save, make a budget, use credit responsibly and give back to their school or community. The 2014 #brassmoneymonth contest begins April 1st, with a new money-related theme each week.
#brassmoneymonth doesn’t just stop at Instagram, though. Financial fun facts and trivia questions will be posted on the brass Facebook and Twitter feeds every day during April.
Check out our contest page for the full rundown of how you can get involved and what participants can win. You can visit this page for all the fine print.
