Sherod Halliburton

Mr. Halliburton is founder of a very innovative economic development non-profit, Suncoast Community Capital Corporation (SCC). SCC is charged with the creation of human and financial capital for the underserved communities in Manatee and Sarasota Counties and serves as a non-profit development partner for urban real estate projects throughout Manatee and Sarasota Counties. He’s currently Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Manatee Community FCU (MCFCU). In that capacity Halliburton is charged with managing all CDFI activities, growing membership, growing loans, developing new products and services, and utilizing his community development network and acumen to establish new community partnerships. MCFCU is one of only three CDFI credit unions in the entire state of Florida.
