Caucus reminders: Nominate CU champion for Paul Revere Award, schedule Hill meetings

NAFCU’s Congressional Caucus is fast approaching and today is the last day member credit unions can nominate a champion for the association’s 2019 Paul Revere Award, which recognizes an individual’s grassroots and political efforts. Also, those attending Caucus are encouraged to setup Capitol Hill meetings to discuss issues directly with their respective representative and senators.

Congressional Caucus – happening Sept. 8-11 in Washington – features a stellar lineup of key administration officials, lawmakers and regulators who will address the hundreds of credit union representatives throughout the week. The Capitol Hill meetings provide credit unions the opportunity to connect with lawmakers individually to discuss issues critical to their constituents. A Hill visit form is available online.

The Paul Revere Award winner will be announced and recognized during Caucus. To be considered for the award, candidates must:

  • be from a NAFCU-member credit union;
