Before World Council of Credit Unions President/CEO Brian Branch jetted off to Cuba and then Peru, he sat down with us to discuss what plans WOCCU has for this year’s International Credit Union Day and how credit unions domestically can help spread the word that our industry truly is a global movement.

We also discussed at length the latest efforts to plant credit unions in Cuba, regarding his trip with CUNA President/CEO Jim Nussle, LSCU President/CEO Patrick LaPine, and The DMA Group’s Principal Dan Mica. This country has great need for credit unions as Brian explains.
