CMN receives $380K from CUs before Cherry Blossom Run

Credit union representatives, including CUNA Deputy Chief Advocacy Officer Eli Joseph, present Children's Miracle Network Hospitals with a $380,000 donation, leading up to this weekend's Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run.

Credit unions presented Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospital with a check for $380,000 Thursday, leading into this weekend’s Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run. The annual race has been sponsored by credit 17 years, raising more than $8 million for 170 children’s hospitals around the country.

CUNA sponsors the race, along with Congressional FCU, United States Senate FCU and the National Association for Federally Insured Credit Unions.

“We’re proud to be sponsoring this race for the 17th year. Through this race credit unions all across the country collaborate to raise awareness about credit union on Capitol Hill, and support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at the same time,” said Eli Joseph, CUNA’s deputy chief advocacy officer. “We’re proud to be part of such a wonderful example of the credit union difference.”
