HELP of Southern Nevada
Established in 1970, HELP of Southern Nevada is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting individuals and families in Southern Nevada to overcome barriers and attain self-sufficiency. Originally founded as the Voluntary Action Center by the Junior League of Las Vegas, HELP has expanded its services over the decades to address a wide range of community needs. HELP offers over 40 programs across 10 departments. These programs encompass housing assistance, behavioral health services, workforce development, and support for homeless youth, among others. With a dedicated team of nearly 170 employees, HELP serves tens of thousands of clients annually, ranging from newborns to the elderly, striving to provide comprehensive support to those in need.
