Hudson River Financial Federal Credit Union, originally known as Hudson River Teachers Federal Credit Union, was established in 1938 to serve the employees of the public schools in the communities of Hastings-on-Hudson, Dobbs Ferry, Irvington, Sleepy Hollow, Ossining, Peekskill, Croton-on-Hudson, and Ardsley. Headquartered in Mohegan Lake, the Hudson River Financial Federal Credit Union now has more than 6,000 members and serves a wide range of members. Membership is available to students, teachers, employees, and members of the Boards of Education of 29 school districts in northern Westchester and Rockland, members of select labor unions, companies, and partner groups based in these boroughs, family members of those in membership-eligible groups, and retired members.
