Hurley Breast Cancer Navigation Program

The Hurley Breast Cancer Navigation Program  supports breast cancer patients in Genesee County, where many are uninsured or underinsured, helping  them avoid choosing between treatment and basic needs. Since October 2024, the program has  provided over $60,000 in direct financial assistance for medical costs, post-surgery supplies, housing,  utilities, transportation, and groceries. Patients also receive guidance in securing insurance, connections  to community resources, and emotional support throughout treatment. By addressing financial and  logistical barriers, the program reduces delays in care and ensures patients never face cancer alone.
