MECU Foundation

The MECU Foundation works to provide financial and volunteer assistance to the educational and financial literacy programs within the MECU Credit Union footprint. Since its inception in 1998, the Foundation has donated over $800,000 towards Baltimore City Schools, scholarships, non-profit educational programs, and more than 100 charitable organizations. The Foundation is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. Its Federal Tax ID # for the MECU Foundation is 26-1113703.
