Rocky Mountain Credit Union has provided financial services to its members since 1940. Starting as State Capital Employees Credit Union with 47 members, the credit union rebranded as Rocky Mountain Credit Union in 1999 and grew to $383 Million in assets. From humble beginnings, offering only share/savings accounts, today Rocky Mountain Credit Union offers its members a full suite of financial services with six branches in Helena, Bozeman, Belgrade, and Butte. Membership is open to State of Montana Employees, Montana State University Alumni, employees of select businesses, relatives of current members as well as anyone who lives, works, or worships in Broadwater, Deer Lodge, Gallatin, Jefferson, Lewis and Clark, Park, Powell, Silver Bow, Madison, and Cascade counties.
