Advancing financial inclusion, credit union relief aid, gender equity, and young leader relevance are pivotal in simultaneously strengthening credit unions while they better serve and transform member lives worldwide.
Our 2022 Bridge the Gap campaign takes aim at eliminating four key gaps faced by credit unions and member communities, which we can help overcome.

Our 2022 campaign goal of $2,017,000 supports the impact of the Foundation’s four key initiatives, each targeting a key, relevant gap adversely affecting member lives and credit union growth.
We help Bridge the Inclusion Gap to bring financial inclusion to millions annually by supporting credit union development across the world: growing farms, starting businesses, creating financial democracy. And yet, 1.7 million people worldwide are still without basic financial services.
We help Bridge a Safety Gap. Crises on a global scale continue to threaten credit union growth and operations. COVID-19 has made member and staff safety priority #1. Natural disasters, always unpredictable, can appear at any moment.
We Bridge the Gender Gap through our Global Women’s Leadership Network (GWLN). GWLN leverages a passionate community of over 4,500 individuals within 150 Sister Societies at home and abroad that inspire and empower change in leadership growth and financial access.
We Bridge the Leadership Gap using the World Council Young Credit Union Professionals (WYCUP) program. WYCUP intentionally shares and develops strategies that put young leaders in positions of leadership, so they can effect change and advance engagement in credit unions and their communities.
