CU-backed candidates see wins in AL, CA, MS, and NJ

Credit union-supported candidates found success during Tuesday’s primaries across eight states, including several in notable and competitive races. Candidates are supported by state leagues, CUNA and the Credit Union Legislative Action Council (CULAC), CUNA’s political action committee.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) finished first in her primary, which featured 31 challengers from both parties. Feinstein has the support of CULAC and the California Credit Union League.

Under California law, the top two finishers will compete in November. Votes are still being counted as of Wednesday afternoon to determine Feinstein’s opponent.
