Honors 2014 Outstanding Chief Executive and inducts four into CUES Hall of Fame.

To open CEO/Executive Team Network last night, CUES honored Tony C. Budet, CCUE, president/CEO of University Federal Credit Union, Austin, Texas, as the 2014 CUES Outstanding Chief Executive.

This award recognizes exceptional CEOs who display professional achievement, employee motivation and dedication to the community.

Under Budet’s leadership, $1.7 billion University FCU is active throughout the Austin community, contributing $100,000 as a lead sponsor of Amplify Austin’s 1st annual day of giving in 2013. University FCU has also been recognized as an exceptional Small Business Administration lender, and was named one of the Best Companies to Work for in Texas in 2011. In 2014, Budet received the Rev. Dr. George J. Beto Community Leadership Award, presented by Concordia University Texas.
