CUNA engaged in FCRA, cybersecurity hearings this week

CUNA will be engaged with a Senate Banking Committee hearing on the Fair Credit Reporting Act this week, in addition to other activities in both chambers. The House and Senate are also expected to consider several natural resources bills.

The Senate Banking Committee will conduct “An Overview of Fair the Credit Bureaus and the Fair Credit Reporting Act” Thursday at 10 a.m. (ET), and it will be streamed live on the committee’s website. Witnesses will be two staff members at the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection.

Other hearings this week include:

• Wednesday, 10 a.m. (ET): House Financial Services Committee markup of 10 investment-related bills;
