CUNA engaged with blockchain hearing this week
The Senate is in session this week for what is expected to be the final time before Labor Day, and the House has already adjourned until Sept. 9.
CUNA will be engaged with a Senate Banking Committee hearing scheduled for Tuesday at 10 a.m. (ET), titled “Examining Regulatory Frameworks for Digital Currency and Blockchain.”
CUNA supports the use of blockchain’s distributed ledger technology, and along with the Mountain West Credit Union Association and Best Innovation Group, coordinated the founding of CULedger by CUNA Strategic Services and Credit Union Strategic Partners.
