CUNA Financial Management School produces 111 fiscal leaders

The CUNA Financial Management School, held July 30-Aug. 3, provided more than 100 attendees with hands-on training in the key concepts of credit union asset management.

“The topics covered mirror what happens around us in the world of finance every day,” said past attendee Timothy Mullen, Piedmont Advantage CU vice president of lending. “This school will help you understand how to handle curveballs thrown your way and how to responsibly manage assets and liabilities at your credit union.”

At CUNA Financial Management School, attendees learned from financial experts about how to protect, optimize and grow their assets. Gaining essential skills will help these new leaders steer their credit unions toward financial success, providing them with real-life scenarios and strategies to keep them up-to-date on changes in the credit union marketplace.
