How to get rolling after a great weekend

No matter how great your job is, it can be hard to get going after a fantastic weekend. Here are three ways to get going and start your Monday off right…

Work up a sweat: We all know about the benefits of exercise, so hit the gym in the morning if you can. A good workout can improve brain function and give you more energy, not to mention help with sleep. Starting your week by providing your body these benefits can be a fantastic way to get your week moving in the right direction. Don’t deny yourself this opportunity.

Begin a routine: If you don’t have a routine during the work week, Monday morning is the perfect time to start one. When your wake-up, breakfast, and commute are all on a schedule, you’ll have a productive and energetic start to your day. Turn off that alarm when it goes off and don’t fall prey to your snooze button. Starting your Monday off on the wrong foot can set a negative tone for the entire week.

Get a jumpstart: Getting to the office early on Monday morning is a great way for you to take a look at your to-do list before the emails and customers start bombarding you. This will allow you to prepare for the week ahead and not have to play catch-up at some point during the week.
