How to get your creative juices flowing

If you find yourself stuck creatively, it can be difficult to get inspired. Here are a few ideas to help you get the creative juices flowing…

Work it out: A good workout can do as much for your brain as it does for your body. Working up a good sweat and getting your blood pumping may be just what you need to get your thoughts flowing. Pop in your headphones, put on some jams, get your heart racing, and see where your brain takes you.

Be uncomfortable: Every once in a while you need to get out of your comfort zone. Changing up your routine can lead to new and different ideas. Maybe you don’t like getting up earlier than usual to support a change in your routine, but that change in your schedule may help get those creative juices flowing again.

Find a friend: When you’re stuck, you may have the same thoughts circling round and round in your head. Spend some time with a friend or family member who supports you. It’s always a good idea to have someone to bounce ideas off of.

Check out for a while: Sometimes, our minds need a hard restart . The easiest way to do this is to give your mind a break. They say TV rots your brain but you may need something to transport you to another world. When you come back to reality, you may find your brain is working the way you want it to again.
