The message from legislators speaking at the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) was loud and clear: They are hearing from credit unions about regulatory burden and understanding the impact.

Tuesday’s speakers included Rep. Denny Heck (D-Wash.) and Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.), while Wednesday’s lineup included Reps. Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas), Bill Huizenga (R-Mich.), Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-Mo.), Ed Royce (R-Calif.), Linda Sanchez (D-Calif.), Brad Sherman (D-Calif.), and Maxine Waters (D-Calif.).
