On-site: CUES CEO/Exec Team Network – Next Top Credit Union Exec

The six finalists in the CUES search for the Next Top Credit Union Exec made their final presentations to CU leaders at the CEO/Executive Team Network Conference Monday. From Tina Hall’s rap to Ronaldo Hardy coming on stage in an afro wig the presentations were well put together a packed with ideas that are already being implemented in their respected credit unions.
Tim McAlpine of Currency Marketing emceed the presentations and moderated the Q&A. Each participant presented to the group individually and then fielded questions from a panel of judges. All in attendance cast their votes immediately following. Voting opens to the Credit Union community on Today, November 9th,for one day only with the winner announced Wednesday to wrap up the conference.
The six finalists are:
- West: Tina Hall is a 35-year-old Vice President, Organizational Development with Verity Credit Union ($380M) in Seattle, Washington
- Mideast: Amy Grothaus is a 34-year-old Assistant Vice President with CommunityAmerica Credit Union ($1.8B) in Kansas City, Missouri
- Northeast: Amy Stanton is a 29-year-old Assistant Vice President of Marketing with Connex Credit Union ($350M) in North Haven, Connecticut.
- Southwest: Kelsey Balcaitis is a 23-year-old Community Education Specialist with A+ Federal Credit Union ($770M) in Austin, Texas.
- Southeast: Ronaldo Hardy is a 26-year-old Branch Coordinator with La Capitol Federal Credit Union ($400M) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
- Canada: Jodi Chambers is a 35-year-old Director, Business Excellence with Assiniboine Credit Union ($2.6B) in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The Challenge set out this summer by CUES was to look for young CU professionals, age 35 and under or less than two years in the industry to apply by submitting videos to become the Next Top Credit Union Exec. The challenged allowed young credit union professionals to flex their creative muscles and show the credit union world what they are capable of. Now it’s your turn to vote for who is the Next TopCredit Union Exec.
