The GAC was proud to bring out former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, who spoke on globalization and had a challenge for credit unions. Blair spoke on the changing world and the effect that technology is having everywhere. He challenged credit union leaders, employees, and members to speak out and  have courage to propel a change movement. Blair asked that all involved in the credit union movement contact legislators and protect the industry. He also said that leaders need to be prepared to make decisions that are focused on the long term and that they need to make decisions not based on left or right but based on handling change.
