$15,000 Donation Supports Local Schools and Community

Heritage Trust Federal Credit Union’s Information Technology Department donated over $15,000 in office equipment to local schools and non-profit agencies. Copiers, fax machines and printers were distributed to Summerville High School, Walterboro United Way and the Colleton County school district.

Jerry Beckley, Assistant Vice President of Information Technology for Heritage Trust added, “Heritage Trust fully embodies the Credit Union philosophy of People Helping People. When we have equipment that no longer meets our needs, or that can’t be recycled inside our own organization, the obvious course is to give back to our community.”

Heritage Trust is a financially sound organization that has served the greater Charleston community since 1955. The credit union actively gives back to the local community through continued outreach efforts and financial education.
