MADISON, WI (November 13, 2015) — The 2015 Phil Greer Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Truity CU SVP Mark Wilburn at the 21st Annual CUNA Lending Council Conference, November 8-11, 2015 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

“At every step of his accomplished career, Mark has brought vision and leadership to the field of credit union lending,” says Joe Brancucci, CEO, GTE Financial CU and a past recipient of the award. “Through his tireless efforts to provide quality loans to credit union members, Mark has embodied the spirit of the Phil Greer Award in every way imaginable.”

Beyond his work at Truity CU in Bartlesville, Okla., Wilburn has also served in executive lending capacities at State Capital FCU in St. Paul, Minn. and Point Loma FCU in San Diego, Calif. He currently serves as chair of the American Credit Union Mortgage Association (ACUMA), and a member of the CUNA Member Housing Reform Task Force. Additionally, Wilburn was the inaugural chair of CUNA Council Forum, where he helped broker a sponsorship agreement and instituted a reserves policy for CUNA Councils.

The Phil Greer Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to individuals who exemplify the same leadership, passion and commitment brought to the field of credit union lending. Greer was SVP of loan administration for State Employees’ FCU and an active, longtime member of CUNA Lending Council.
