2017-2018 CUNA HR & Organizational Development Council Executive Committee announced

MADISON, WI (April 28, 2017) — The 2017-2018 Executive Committee of CUNA HR & Organizational Development Council was officially unveiled at the Council’s annual conference last week in Las Vegas. Lisa Baron, senior vice president HR and talent management, Baxter CU, Vernon Hills, Ill., will chair the committee, with Jackie Henderson, vice president HR, Rivermark Community CU, Beaverton, Ore. serving as vice chair. The 2nd vice chair position will be announced soon.

Stepping down from the Executive Committee this year after completing his full term is Bob Davis, senior vice president HR, VyStar CU, Jacksonville, Fla. Michelle Greear, vice president learning and development, Patelco CU, Pleasanton, Calif., was newly elected to a three-year term, while Cindy Swigert, vice president HR, Day Air CU, Kettering, Ohio, was elected to her first term.

“Bob has given so much to this team and helped shape CUNA HR & Organizational Development Council in meaningful ways,” said Baron. “His dedication to service sets a great example for all of us on the Executive Committee, and his contribution will be dearly missed.”

Buddy Bennett, vice president operations, Cyprus CU, West Jordan, Utah, and Mark Millwood, director HR, Eastman CU, Kingsport, Tenn., were both re-elected to second terms on the committee.

The remaining 2017-2018 Executive Committee includes:

  • Leigh Brady, executive vice president organizational development, State ECU, Raleigh, N.C.;
  • Jennifer Huggard, vice president administration, Northwest CU Association, Seatac, Wash.;
  • Norma Stein, senior vice president HR, Financial Partners CU, Downey, Calif.;
  • Peter Stein, senior vice president HR, Educators CU, Mount Pleasant, Wis.;
