2024 Herb Wegner Memorial Awards nominations open

MADISON, WI (May 3, 2023) — The National Credit Union Foundation (the Foundation) hasopened nominations for the 2024 Herb Wegner Memorial Awards.

The awards are the credit union movement’s highest national honors and recognize outstanding leaders, programs, and organizations that have made a lasting impact on the movement. They are presented each year at the Foundation Dinner—the Foundation’s annual fundraising event.

  • Outstanding Individual Achievement, honoring an individual dedicated to promoting the credit union philosophy, whose leadership has had a lasting impact on the credit union movement.

“Please take the time to consider nominating an individual or organization for this most prestigious recognition. Nominees must embody the credit union movement’s ‘people helping people’ philosophy and work(ed) to create opportunities for and improve the lives of members, employees, and communities.”
