Panel Discussion During ATMIA 2015 US Conference to Cover Survey Results
BLOOMINGTON, IL & SIOUX FALLS, SD (November 10, 2014) --The fifth annual US independent ATM deployer (IAD) survey is currently underway. Co-sponsors, ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) and Kahuna ATM Solutions, encourage all US-based IADs to take the time to complete the survey.
“I encourage all US-based IADs to take a few minutes to complete the survey," says Bryan Bauer, president of Kahuna ATM Solutions. “It’s important our voices be heard; that our concerns and issues be brought to light and we work together to protect the future of our industry.”
This year's survey covers IAD issues regarding legislative and compliance challenges, competitive threats, migration to EMV, mobile/contactless payments, ATM product and service trends and the future of ATM businesses in the United States.
The results of the survey will be revealed Feb. 18, 2015 during the ATMIA U.S. Conference and Expo. at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The panel discussion, moderated by Bryan Bauer, will feature industry leaders who will discuss the survey results and offer solutions to the top IAD concerns.
"Surveys like this help us to hear the heartbeat of our members,” says David Tente, ATMIA US executive director. “The data collected will help us shape the association’s strategy for 2015 including what types of white papers and best practice materials we produce for our members."
Results from last year’s survey, which are available for download from the Kahuna and ATMIA websites, showed that IAD's top legislative / compliance concerns were EMV migration, reductions in interchange and surcharge restrictions. IADs cited declining transactions, ATM saturation and keeping up with changing technology as their three biggest competitive fears, worries or concerns regarding the health of the US ATM industry.
