Shell Federal Credit Union has always created unique opportunities to benefit their communities and membership. They always strive to give back through volunterism, gas giveaways, yearlong contests, social media contests and more. Although two of their planned Gas Giveaways were cancelled due to COVID-19, this didn’t stop them from giving back to their communities.
From April 7th through April 20th more than 11,700 individuals entered to win 60 $100 H-E-B gift cards. Shell FCU took the planned $6k from two cancelled Gas Giveaways and created this incredible opportunity. All they asked for was a few minutes to complete an online entry form on their website. Late last week the winners were choosen using a number randomizer and contacted with the exciting news.
