A+ Federal Credit Union plans new Austin branch

AUSTIN, TX (May 5, 2014) -- A+ Federal Credit Union (A+FCU) is excited to announce its next Austin branch in the Trails at 620. Keeping pace with this growing community and continued expansion for members in the Greater Austin area is important to the Credit Union. The new branch will be the 19th A+FCU branch and has the opportunity to serve an area that is rapidly developing.

The branch will be conveniently located at 8300 North FM620, Austin in the Trails at 620, a dining, shopping and entertainment area north of FM620 and RR2222. Instead of traditional drive-thru lanes, this branch will offer drive-UP service using pneumatic tube service. Teller “pod” stations will provide members personalized service inside. The Trails at 620 branch is scheduled to open early 2015.

“We are very happy to be a part of this emerging community,” said A+FCU CEO Kerry A. S. Parker. “The new branch will help cultivate growth and foster education and business relationships in the area.”

Earlier this year, A+FCU announced plans to open a high school branch at Round Rock High School in August 2014 and to expand to Harker Heights in 2015.

A+ Federal Credit Union has 17 Austin area locations, over $1 Billion in assets, and more than 112,000 members that include not only educators, students, and their families, but other members of the community as well. To find out more, visit the website at aplusfcu.org.
