Achieva Credit Union celebrates opening of new North Port Branch
The credit union hosted several events in honor of the new location
DUNEDIN, FL (June 28, 2017) — Achieva Credit Union celebrated the opening of a new location in North Port, Florida, with a VIP event, ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house party. North Port Mayor Linda Yates, Commissioner Debbie McDowell and Commissioner Jill Luke were all in attendance, joining senior leadership of Achieva in formally opening the location.
The new branch is a stand-alone building at 2467 Sycamore Street, North Port, Florida, 34289, which is a former bank location that had been shuttered and Achieva is now reviving as the local community grows.
“We are so thrilled to celebrate the opening of this fantastic new branch with the community,” said Achieva Market Vice President Susan Lacey. “We look forward to welcoming our North Port neighbors to this great new location.”
The new branch design takes cues from the concierge-like service at modern hotels. Achieva staff will meet each member at the front door and work side-by-side with them to make deposits, withdrawals, look up information and explore other potential services.
This location opening is a part of Achieva’s general expansion in Charlotte, DeSoto, Lee and Sarasota counties. This new branch replaces a former Achieva branch site a few miles away at 14942 Tamiami Trail.
