Addition Financial launches TikTok account

To help young members take charge of their finances, Addition Financial has launched a TikTok account. As short-form videos gain traction among Generation Z, Addition Financial has become one of the first credit unions to incorporate financial education into its TikTok content.

TikTok has become a go-to resource for Generation Z, many of whom are around high school and college-aged and working toward financial independence from their parents. Addition Financial’s video topics focus on credit, budgeting, renting your first apartment, demystifying banking jargon and more. The videos offer important financial advice, positioned in a relatable way to educate Gen Z and Millennial audiences.
