In order to provide more access for members across Central Florida, Addition Financial has opened its newest branch in The Loop in Kissimmee. This branch is Addition Financial’s fourth in Osceola County, joining branches in Poinciana and St. Cloud, along with another branch in Kissimmee.
“We at Addition Financial are proud to expand our footprint in Osceola County and to offer added convenience to our community. Through our newest branch in The Loop, we look forward to providing financial empowerment and education to more members in the region,” said Kevin Miller, President and CEO.
The 3,800-square foot branch opened to the public on April 19, with a grand opening celebration to take place in early May.
Founded by local educators in 1937, Addition Financial has strong roots in the Central Florida community. The credit union currently supports the Osceola School District through a co-branded debit card program, in which Addition Financial donates $0.03 every time the card is swiped. Since the program’s inception in 2009, the credit union has donated a total of more than $260,000 to support scholarships and other district initiatives. Through the school district partnerships, Addition Financial also has student-run high school branches at Poinciana and St. Cloud High Schools, providing hands-on banking experience for students right on campus.
Addition Financial is also the Preferred Credit Union of Valencia College, which has two campuses in Osceola County. The credit union provides financial education, scholarships and other support for Valencia’s students, faculty and staff.
