On May 2nd, Advance Financial Federal Credit Union (AFFCU), held its 80th Annual Meeting in the company of over 100 of its members. Janice Vamos, AFFCU’s Chairperson of the Board, conducted the business portion of the meeting before beginning the traditional door prize drawings which awarded over $2,500 in donated merchandise to those members who attended the meeting.
Chairperson Vamos also read a letter from John McKenzie, President of the Indiana Credit Union League, congratulating the credit union on its 80th anniversary. “Your credit union has an impressive history. Of course, the credit union’s more recent achievements would not be possible without the strong, capable leadership shown by you and your predecessors. The contributions made by your dedicated board of directors and management are also to be commended.”
Chairperson Vamos also thanked the board, management, staff and the members for helping to make the 80th anniversary year such a successful one.
