DALLAS (February 18, 2011) — Advancial Federal Credit Union recently earned the distinction as a Best Company to Work for in Texas and ranked as the 2nd place winner out of medium-sized companies. In times of trouble for many financial institutions nationwide where layoffs and budget cuts are in abundance, Advancial proves to be a leader in the industry for workplace excellence.
“We were very excited to learn we not only made the list as a Best Company to Work for in Texas, but ranked 2nd place in our category,” said Suzan Dick, Chief Human Resources Officer of Advancial. “Our employees have created the collaborative work environment Advancial has today and deserve this recognition.”
The program was facilitated by the Best Companies Group. In order to participate in the 2011 Best Companies to Work for in Texas program, Advancial’s workplace assessment process included an employee survey and an inventory of the company benefits, policies and offerings. The final rankings of the Best Companies to Work for in Texas list was published in a special advertising section of the February 2011 issue of Texas Monthly, a national publication.

Employees were surveyed on a number of topics: employees’ confidence in the leadership team, the corporate culture and satisfaction with the physical workplace, among others. As published in the issue of Texas Monthly, Advancial was recognized for the company 401(k) contributions, the President’s annual meetings with each employee and an employee advisory council to the President and CEO.
