BROWNSTOWN, MI (June 12, 2020) — Advantage One Credit Union is committed to supporting the continuing education of local students. To further the development of these future leaders, Advantage One has awarded three students $2,500 scholarships to use toward college costs. Recipients were selected based on an essay competition and academic accomplishments. Keeping with the credit union philosophy of “people helping people,” extra consideration was given for volunteer/community involvement.
Adult Enrichment scholarship recipient, Brad Salisbury, is an AOCU member and Military Veteran who is currently enrolled at Central Texas College, studying liberal arts. Ryan Cacicedo, The James Wood scholarship recipient, is an AOCU member and Southgate Anderson grad who will be studying finance at UM Dearborn this fall. Ronald Stamper scholarship recipient, Norah Saraya, is graduating from Divine Child in Dearborn and plans to study medicine/biology at UM Ann Arbor.
