Advantis Credit Union Opens New NE Portland Branch

Portland, Ore. (July 27, 2011) — Advantis Credit Union this week announced the opening of a new community branch in NE Portland.  Advantis serves communities throughout the greater Portland market. The new location is the credit union’s fifth branch.

As part of a community-wide celebration for the new branch, Advantis invites members, friends and neighbors to visit the branch and enter to win a trip to Hawaii, custom bicycle or a $500 gift certificate to Whole Foods now through September 30th.  Advantis introduces itself to the new branch neighborhood as a sponsor of Movies in the Park and the Alberta Street Fair in August.

Advantis was just ranked the top credit union in the United States for returning financial value to members during the first quarter of 2011 by Callahan & Associates, a national research and consulting firm that analyzes credit union performance. Advantis was ranked first among 215 credit unions with assets between $500 million and $1 billion. This marks the seventh time overall that Advantis has been ranked number one and the credit union consistently ranks in the top two percent in the nation in returning financial value to members.
