Akcelerant Appoints New CFO And Announces Organizational Changes

MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA – August 18, 2011 – Akcelerant, a provider of connected software technology to the financial services industry, announced today key organizational changes that will support the company’s rapid growth fueled by the addition of a new product line, Akcelerant Elements, and the success of Akcelerant’s new loan origination system, SOLUTION.LENDING.
As part of these organizational changes, Kathryn Thompson has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer and will oversee Akcelerant’s finance, human resources, legal and administrative areas. Kathryn’s wealth of experience and knowledge has grown exponentially throughout her 11 years with the company, and she will now lead the organization in developing new strategies, plans and policies that will strengthen Akcelerant’s overall financial position.
Five new Senior Vice Presidents in the areas of Product Management, Product Development, Architecture, Professional Services, and Customer Care have also been appointed, and 13 new open positions, spanning all areas of the organization, will be filled during the remainder of 2011.
