Akcelerant Hosts 6th Annual Customer Educational Conference

MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA –September 22, 2011– Akcelerant, a provider of connected software technology to the financial services industry, announced today the success of its 2011 Customer Educational Conference. The event took place September 13-15 in the company’s hometown of Malvern, Pennsylvania at the Penn State Great Valley Conference Center. More than 220 individuals, representing 110 financial institutions, gathered for three jam-packed days of product education and networking
The conference began with an opening address by Akcelerant’s President and CEO, Jay Mossman. Mossman spoke to the company’s strong performance over the past year, as well as provided a visionary presentation on future enhancements being made to the company’s product lines.
Product education was the main focus of Akcelerant’s 2011 event. Penn State’s unique facility provided each attendee access to an individual computer, allowing for hands-on training during 80% of the conference. Attendees were segmented into small groups based on product usage and knowledge level in order to promote more personalized training and communication. In addition, numerous networking groups and a best practice panel discussion lead by power users connected attendees with their peers, providing an open forum to discuss product and industry hot topics.
Akcelerant’s annual event would not be possible without the support of the company’s partners and sponsors. SWBC, the premier event sponsor, and 10 other Akcelerant partners showcased their products and services in the exhibit hall, and lead teams of attendees during a new Rock ‘n’ Bowl networking event.
