Align Credit Union awards scholarships to local students

Align Credit Union is proud to announce the winners of its 2018 scholarship program. Since the program’s inception over 25 years ago, Align has awarded scholarships to 283 students to assist them in their pursuit of higher education. This year’s scholarship winners are:

Thomas Caron from Andover, MA (Boston College)
Samuel Cook from Methuen, MA (Boston University)
Mackenzie Webb from Dunstable, MA (University of Massachusetts Amherst)
Alexander Corcoran from Dracut, MA (University of Massachusetts Amherst)
Mark Murphy from North Andover, MA (University of Massachusetts Lowell)
Taylor Kelley from North Billerica, MA (University of Massachusetts Lowell)
Sara Krusper from Tewksbury, MA (Worcester State University)
Summer Kelley from North Billerica, MA (Framingham State University)
Julia Fish from Hillsborough, NC (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill)

Align also awarded $500 scholarships to high school students. A local scholarship committee reviewed applications and selected one winner from each high school. This year’s high school scholarship winners are:

Christina Bucher (Amesbury High School)
Nicholas Raimo (Danvers High School)
Akin Shah (Framingham High School)
Monica Nguyen (Lowell High School)
Jessica de Sousa (Greater Lowell Vocational High School)
Sarah Scougall (Methuen High School)
Emily Petrillo (Whitter High School, Haverhill)
Fariha Haque (Wilmington High School)

“For over 25 years, Align has helped students reach their goal of a college degree with our scholarship program,” said Align President Ken Del Rossi. “We truly enjoy meeting these outstanding students, watching them grow into incredible adults and leading successful professional lives.”
