LOWELL, MA (April 22, 2014) -- Align Credit Union is pleased to announce that it recently donated 47 dresses to the 9th Annual Belle of the Ball prom dress drive, organized by Anton’s Cleaners. The program cleans and distributes prom dresses and provides related accessories at no charge to more than 400 high school girls who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend their school’s prom.
"On behalf of Anton's Cleaners, we are incredibly proud of our partner Align Credit Union," said Arthur Anton Jr., COO of Anton's Cleaners. "This donation of 47 prom dresses to our 'Belle of the Ball' program is one of the largest this year and will help 47 high school junior or senior girls attend one of the most memorable events of their lifetime. We appreciate all of the hardworking employees and dedicated Members of Align's Lowell area branches who donated these beautiful dresses from their closets to their community."
“We are so pleased to be able to participate in a program like this that directly impacts local youth,” said Align President and CEO Ken Del Rossi. “Attending a prom is a key milestone in any young person’s life and we are happy to help make that experience possible.”
