Align Credit Union supports Habitat for Humanity

Volunteers Help during National Women Build Week

Align Credit Union’s employees proudly supported Habitat for Humanity’s 12th Annual National Women Build Week in May. The weeklong event invites women to devote at least one day to help families and spotlight homeownership challenges faced by women. This year, Align volunteers helped kick off the event for Habitat of Humanity of Greater Lowell by aiding in the restoration of a two-family home at 165-167 Adams Street in Lowell.

“We are thrilled to have Align Credit Union continue to sponsor Women Build Week. The impact they are making on families and the community is beyond words. This time last year Align women were helping raise the front wall for the Aung and Phal families. This year they are hanging sheet rock that will bring the interior to life,” said Kim Trainor, Director of Development, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell. “Align Credit Union’s continued support year over year helps to make this all possible.”

“Year after year, women of Align jump at the opportunity to support Habitat for Humanity and this special event,” said Align President and CEO Ken Del Rossi. “It’s in our DNA to help our community and help hard-working families have a safe place to call home.”
