Align Credit Union supports Manolis family foundation’s “Project Helping Hands”

LOWELL, MA (December 4, 2013) -- Align was proud to participate as the leading sponsor of this year’s “Project Helping Hands” Thanksgiving Food Drive. Organized by the Manolis Family Foundation, the annual drive provided a complete Thanksgiving dinner to over 2,000 families throughout Greater Lowell.

On Monday, November 25, hundreds of volunteers, including Align employees, packed baskets with a turkey, assorted vegetables, fixings and beverages.  The food baskets were delivered to area families as well as nursing homes, women’s shelters and the Dracut Food Pantry.

“There has never been a greater need for organizations like the Manolis Family Foundation which has become a pivotal resource for local individuals and families in need,” stated Align President and CEO Ken Del Rossi.  “We are thrilled that we can partner with them to help make a difference in the communities we serve.”

“We can always count on Align,” exclaimed Project Helping Hands organizer Nick Manolis.  “They are one of our biggest advocates and are always looking for ways that they can help us maximize our efforts.”
