Align Credit Union supports UMass Lowell art history and history students

Align Credit Union is proud to support UMass Lowell art history and history students through the sponsorship of field trips to the Addison Gallery of American Art at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. The collection of more than 12,000 objects includes major works by prominent American artists and is considered one of the most important collections of American art in the country. UMass Lowell professors and Addison curators co-taught over 100 students at the Addison this academic year.

“The field trip to the Addison greatly enriched my class’ experience,” said UMass Lowell Professor Sarah Bromberg. “Inspired by the first-hand experience with rare and beautiful works of art, my students made numerous discoveries and observations that they will incorporate into their final paper assignments.”

“A college education is one of the most important investments that a person can make,” said Align EVP and CFO Tom Hammond. “Align is proud to help play a role in a great education through unique field trips like this and through our scholarship program and student loan offerings.”
