Alive Credit Union appoints Executive Vice President

JACKSONVILLE, FL (October 30, 2017) — Alive Credit Union (ACU) has appointed John Papagno as Executive Vice President.

Mr. Papagno has been with ACU for a combined thirteen years, and has made significant contributions to the success of the credit union as SVP/Chief Financial Officer since 2007, under the direction of President and CEO, Rose Gunter.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and currently manages ACU’s financial operations and investment portfolio. Additionally, overseeing data processing, IT and facilities operations.
From 2005 to 2007, Mr. Papagno served as VP/Controller at Southeast Corporate Federal Credit Union and has a strong background in internal auditing and lending. He has served on the Catalyst Corporate Federal Credit Union Board since 2011.

In response to his appointment, Papagno thanked his fellow employees for their hard work and friendship, adding – “I am proud of what our credit union has accomplished over the years, and I am thankful for the positive impact that we continue to have on the lives of our members each and every day.”
