Allegacy Federal Credit Union’s Timothy Moore named Legal Elite

Timothy Moore, general counsel for Allegacy Federal Credit Union, has been named one of North Carolina’s 2017 Legal Elite, a listing published by Business North Carolina magazine.

Selections were made by almost 20,000 of their peers with fewer than three percent of the state’s lawyers making the overall list of business-related categories. Moore was one of the top vote-getters in the general counsel category. The magazine has honored Tar Heel lawyers since 2002.

“This is a well-deserved honor for Tim and we are extremely proud of him and the work he does to ensure Allegacy continues to help our members be their best in 2017 and beyond,” said Cathy Pace, President and CEO.

Moore earned his Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has 20 years’ of legal experience and most recently was a member of, and co-chair of the community banking industry group, at a large regional law firm.
