Alloya’s members support “Don’t Tax my Credit Union”

Naperville, IL (March 19, 2025) |

Alloya’s Board of Directors is proud to announce a $250,000 donation to America’s Credit Unions National Advocacy Fund on behalf of our 1,300+ credit union members.

“Alloya is inspired everyday by the great work of its credit union members. Credit unions’ business model is based on “people helping people” and has worked since 1934 to help Americans of all economic statuses to realize higher deposit rates, lower loan rates and lower fees. Credit unions are built around serving a community of people and have fulfilled this purpose at a very high level for a long period of time. People helping people should not require additional regulation or taxation. Alloya is proud to make this investment and help credit unions tell their amazing story,” said Todd Adams, Alloya’s CEO.
David Suvall, President and CEO of Rhode Island Credit Union and Alloya’s Board Chair added, “Alloya’s mission is to support credit union success. The support for the National Advocacy Fund demonstrates Alloya’s commitment to ensure credit unions can continue to provide high value services to their communities and their membership base.”
“America’s Credit Unions and our industry partners continue to push an aggressive advocacy agenda with lawmakers as the tax debate heats up on Capitol Hill,” said Jim Nussle, America’s Credit Unions President/CEO. “We thank Alloya for standing by our side in this fight. The credit union tax status is too important for the financial well-being of over 140 million Americans and strength of our communities—winning this fight is our only option.”
