Alltru Credit Union elects members to board of directors and supervisory committee

ST. LOUIS, MI (May 12, 2026) |

Alltru Credit Union, a leading Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) serving the Greater St. Louis area, is pleased to announce the re-election of Gina Hakenewerth and James “Bo” Setzekorn to its board of directors.

As a not-for-profit cooperative financial institution, Alltru is governed by a volunteer board of directors elected by its membership. Board members serve three-year terms and are selected during the credit union’s annual meeting each spring.

Gina Hakenewerth has volunteered with Alltru for 15 years, first as a member of the supervisory committee, and then as a director for six years and board chair for the past eight years. Hakenewerth is also a member of the Alltru CDFI board, which ensures that Alltru continues to be a strong community partner in the low-income areas we serve. Hakenewerth obtained her MBA from Webster University and currently works for Ameren Corporation as a real estate agent. Hakenewerth is also a NAFCU Certified Volunteer Expert, further enhancing her experience as a credit union leader.

James “Bo” Setzekorn served on the supervisory committee before joining the board of directors for the past 16 years, where he currently serves as the board secretary. An Alltru member of 41 years, Setzekorn is retired from The Boeing Company after 42 years of employment. In addition to prior service with the St. Peters Parish Athletic Association and the Salvation Army, Setzekorn is also a NAFCU Certified Volunteer Expert, bringing balanced experience to Alltru’s board of directors.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the re-election of Gina and Bo to our board of directors,” said Michelle Rosner, CEO of Alltru Credit Union. “As a member-owned credit union, it’s important to have our members represented by our community. Our board of directors and supervisory committee members serve in a volunteer capacity. They give us their time, resources, and experience for the benefit of Alltru and its community. By inviting our members to participate in a democratic election, they get a say in how we operate our credit union. It keeps our community at the center of all we do.

”Willie Brandon and Pushkala Lakshmipathy were also invited to join Alltru’s supervisory committee. The committee works closely with the board of directors to evaluate the credit union’s internal controls, monitor our financial integrity and ensure the quality of the board’s performance.
