ALM First selects Shirley McMillan as Director, Executive Benefits
DALLAS, TX (February 13, 2024) — ALM First’s newest subsidiary, ALM First Executive Benefits, has selected Shirley H. McMillan as a new Director, Executive Benefits. She was placed by DDJ Myers, the well-known leadership development firm that offers a broad range of solutions to help clients optimize their greatest assets – their people.

McMillan brings over 20 years of extensive experience in executive compensation, benefits consulting, strategic planning, operations, and partner relationship development to her new role. ALM First’s fiduciary approach to providing transparent, trustworthy and tailored solutions aligns with McMillan’s philosophy. Prior to joining ALM First Executive Benefits, she served as Chief Operating Officer for a wealth management firm where she was a key member of the management team leading strategic plan initiatives.

McMillan has held various positions with executive benefits firms M Benefit Solutions and Executive Compensation Institute (ECI Companies). Her professional experiences include serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for M Benefit Solutions, where she led a team of 40 individuals serving corporate and financial institution clients in the design and administration of executive benefit plans.

McMillan earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Boston College. She was born and raised in Houston and now resides in Portland where she and her husband are raising their three children.
