Altura Credit Union Inks four-year partnership with Highlanders Sports Properties for UC Riverside and Highlander Athletics

RIVERSIDE, CA (July 9, 2014) -- Altura Credit Union today announced a new, four-year exclusive partnership with Highlanders Sports Properties of Learfield Sports, the multimedia rights partner of the University of California, Riverside (UCR) and Highlander Athletics.

As the Official Credit Union Partner of UC Riverside Athletics, Altura Credit Union will have an unprecedented presence on the UCR campus inclusive of Highlander Spirit Debit Cards, in-game promotions and venue branding, and the SRC Arena ATM. In addition, Altura will sponsorFinancial Literacy and Life Skills Education for the UC Riverside Student Body.

UCR is one of 10 general campuses in the University of California system. Its sports teams play in the Big West Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I, and are named the Highlanders because of the high altitude of the campus in the foothills of Box Springs Mountain. More than 21,000 students are enrolled in the suburban campus.
