America First Credit Union Board Appoints John Lund as its New President and CEO
Lund is America First’s fourth president and CEO effective September 1, 2012
RIVERDALE, Utah – May 23, 2012 –Linda Carver, board chair of America First Credit Union, announced today the board’s appointment of John Lund as president and CEO effective September 1, 2012.
Lund will be America First’s fourth president and CEO, following Rick Craig, James Dawson and Ray Hagan. Previously, Lund was an executive vice president and will work with Craig and the board of directors during the next few months for a seamless transition.
“We welcome and congratulate John,” Carver said. “We are fortunate to have someone of his caliber, integrity, and experience who has a proven track record at America First Credit Union. He will continue to build on our solid financial foundation and commitment to our members and employees.”
Carver also said Lund’s appointment came after agreeing that he has the right mix of leadership, credit union experience, and skills. And that he has demonstrated his ability to think with clarity and foresight about both challenges and opportunities.
