America First Credit Union hosts financial literacy event alongside United Way of Southern Nevada
RENO, NEV (May 25, 2016) — A dedicated partner committed to youth financial literacy, America First Credit Union, alongside United Way of Southern Nevada, held a volunteer event at Red Rock Elementary School, Tuesday, May 17. The students, ranging from third, fourth and fifth grades, were taught basic financial literacy principles through three mini workshops, which included vocabulary incorporated into crossword puzzles.
America First Credit Union provided each student with a kit complete with a piggy bank, personalized debit card, deposit slips, crayons, pencil and coloring pages.
